What is Health And Wellness Coaching? Health and Wellness Coaches partner with those seeking self-directed, lasting changes, that is aligned with their personal values. It is an inclusive holistic approach of creating optimum health through awareness.
We are involved with the mind, body, soul and spirit to help you make the changes required that are going to support a happier, healthier life style. You can call us “change agents” who are trained to bring changes to you in such a way that matches your life style. People often resist change because change is by default associated with pain. We help you to rise up out of that zone and that allows you to take back the control over your health.
We all know what needs to be done. We need to eat more fruits,vegetables,nut,beans,seeds,whole grains..etc. The problem lies in the doing! How do we make this fun? How do we make it more easier and more convenient? These are real challenges that most people face.
What We Do
We coach and guide individuals on how to change in such a way that is relatable and doable for them. If you are living on a highly processed diet which is exuberant amount of sugar, salt and fat, you cannot feel how you are supposed to feel. As a Professional Coach I will assist you in making the right lifestyle and food choices, help you be accountable throughout the whole process, cheer you on, and steer you on the course to better health.
Where We come in
Have you ever been given a list of “eat this, not that?” Have you found that making drastic changes at once are unsustainable and don’t work for you long-term? Perhaps a friend of yours lost a bunch of weight on one particular diet, but when you tried it, the results were minimal at best.
This is where we come in. We help you implement small changes, little by little, at a pace that’s comfortable for you so you can meet all your health goals. We work with you to help you discover your bio-individuality. There is something that will work for you – the trick is finding it.
Whether your goal is to lose weight, increase energy or just get healthy, we take the time to listen to your concerns, help you discover where and why you are struggling, and help you navigate the world of contradictory nutritional advice to figure out exactly what works for your body.
Everyone is unique and different. That’s why no one diet works for everyone, or only works for a small amount of time. We don’t promote one specific type of diet, or one specific way of eating. It is our job to help you experiment with finding what will work for you specifically, and how to change up your diet and lifestyle as you continue to grow and make strides forward.
Health And Wellness Coaching – What We’re Not
It’s also important to know what we’re not. We’re not doctors. Health coaches don’t diagnose conditions, prescribe medications or recommend lower or higher doses of your current medications. While some are the Health and Wellness Coaches at P.H.A.T Girlz Thrive are not personal trainers.
We’re not drill sergeants. We don’t scream orders at you, or berate you for not meeting goal in a specified amount of time. We understand that life happens, and we work with you and support you in every way we can to achieve optimal wellness.
As health and wellness coaches it is our responsibility to display unconditional positive regard for our clients and believe in their capacity for change. We honor the fact that our clients are experts on their respective lives, while ensuring that all interactions are respectful, non-judgmental and impactful.
